Its SLA (Sandblasted Large-grit Acid-etched) technology — sandblasting plus acid etching — has become the industry standard surface treatment for faster osseointegration. SLActive, a hydrophilic version of SLA, speeds up bone attachment even further.

How the procedure works
CT scan, bone analysis and planning. Straumann is a premium brand, so our approach to planning is as thorough as possible.
We prepare the bone for the implant.
Under anesthesia. Takes 30–60 minutes. Precise positioning according to the plan.
6–8 weeks with SLActive in the lower jaw, 4–6 months in the upper jaw.
Usually a zirconia or E.max crown for the best aesthetics.
