This Policy sets out which work the Dent Aura clinic provides a warranty for, for how long and on what conditions. You can check the status of your warranty on the “Warranty check” page using your phone number or Smile Passport code.
General provisions
- This Policy has been developed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine on health care and consumer protection and forms part of the Public Offer.
- A warranty is the clinic’s obligation to correct, free of charge, defects in completed work that did not arise through the patient’s fault, during the warranty period.
- Each piece of work covered by a warranty is recorded in the Smile Passport system: the patient receives a warranty number, which specifies the service, the tooth, the material, the doctor and the period of validity.
Warranty period and service life
- Warranty period means the period during which the clinic corrects, free of charge, any defects in the work that did not arise through the patient’s fault.
- Service life means the period during which the result of the work, given proper care, retains its properties. After the warranty period expires but within the service life, the clinic corrects material defects in the work; the doctor determines the service life individually and records it in the medical records.
- The warranty period is calculated from the date the work is completed (placement of a filling, cementation of a crown or fitting of a prosthesis, completion of a treatment stage).
Warranty periods by type of work
| Service area | Warranty period | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Fillings and restorations | 1–2 years | Composite restoration — up to 2 years, aesthetic restoration — up to 2 years, root canal treatment — up to 1 year |

The specific period for your work is stated in your Smile Passport. The doctor may shorten the warranty period for medical reasons (for example, in case of severe tooth destruction, gum disease, or treatment performed at the patient’s request contrary to the doctor’s recommendation), informing the patient before treatment begins and recording this in the medical records.
Conditions for keeping the warranty valid
- preventive check-ups at the clinic at least once every 6 months;
- professional teeth cleaning as recommended by the doctor (as a rule, once every 6 months);
- daily home care in accordance with the doctor’s recommendations;
- following the doctor’s instructions, including completing the treatment plan;
- contacting the clinic promptly if discomfort, pain, chipping or other changes occur.
When the warranty does not apply
- mechanical injury (a blow, a fall, a traffic accident), excessive load (biting hard objects, a habit of biting nails, pens, etc.);
- failure to follow the doctor’s recommendations, missed preventive check-ups;
- intervention in the work at another facility or self-adjustment of an appliance;
- general diseases and conditions that affect the tissues of the teeth and gums (in particular, endocrine disorders, pregnancy, cancer treatment), if the doctor warned of the risks;
- allergic reactions to materials that the patient did not disclose a predisposition to;
- temporary fillings, temporary crowns and appliances: the warranty does not cover them.
How to make a warranty claim
- Call +380770001407 or message us via a messaging app, and we will schedule a free examination.
- Bring your warranty number (Smile Passport) or give us the phone number you are registered under.
- The doctor examines the work and determines whether the case is covered by the warranty. The decision is recorded in the medical records.
- We fix a warranty case free of charge: correction, redoing or replacement of the work. If the case is not covered by the warranty, the doctor explains why and suggests treatment options.
Patient’s obligations
- provide the doctor with complete information about their state of health and medications taken;
- follow the recommendations on care and diet after treatment;
- not delay contacting the clinic if pain, loosening of an appliance, chipping or loss of a filling occurs.
