About the treatment
Implant-supported prosthetics means placing a crown, bridge or removable denture that rests not on the gums and neighboring teeth, but on titanium implants placed in the bone. It is the most functional and long-lasting solution for missing teeth — as close as it gets to a natural tooth in both feel and appearance.
Unlike removable dentures, there is nothing to take out at night and no pressure on the gums. Unlike a conventional bridge, there is no need to grind down healthy neighboring teeth. The load goes into the bone and protects it from resorption.
