Composite restoration
Composite restoration is the most common and most modern way to restore a tooth. The material is applied while it's soft, sculpted to the shape of the tooth and hardens in seconds under an LED curing light. No amalgam smell, no metal specks — just a strong, tooth-colored material matched to the shade of your tooth.
What is composite restoration?
Composite restoration rebuilds a tooth with a resin-based composite material that hardens under light. The dentist removes the affected tissue, applies the material in layers and cures each layer with a special lamp. The finished filling is hard, smooth and matched to the color of your teeth.
Composite restoration is suitable for treating cavities at any stage, repairing chips and cracks, replacing old dark fillings and as a base for an aesthetic restoration.
Why choose Dent Aura for composite restoration?
These composites are used by leading clinics around the world — they have certified color stability and withstand chewing forces for years.
We match the material to the color of your tooth, so the restoration doesn't stand out or look out of place.
An LED lamp cures the material in 20–40 seconds. You can eat and drink right after your appointment.
Composite is a safe alternative to amalgam fillings, which were still being placed 20–30 years ago.
How is composite restoration done?
The dentist assesses how deep the decay goes and determines the scope of work.
Always used for moderate and deep cavities. Superficial ones often don't need it.
The affected tissue is removed with a bur down to healthy tooth structure.
The surface is etched and a bonding agent is applied for a strong bond.
Each layer is cured with a lamp.
The filling is adjusted to your bite and polished smooth.
