About the treatment
A nylon denture is made of thermoplastic nylon — a flexible, semi-translucent material that is heated during fabrication and pressed into a mold of the dental arch. The finished denture is elastic and pink, and it is held in place solely by the springiness of the material and the micro-retention of the gums — without metal clasps.
A nylon denture is suitable for patients allergic to acrylic or metal, for those who want the best possible aesthetics with no visible metal in their smile, and for small bounded gaps (1–3 teeth).

Repairing nylon is much harder than repairing acrylic — the material doesn't bond with ordinary adhesives. In some cases repair is impossible, and a new denture has to be made.
