Endodontics

Endodontics is the branch of dentistry that treats the inside of the tooth: the pulp and the root canals. It's what most people call “nerve treatment” or “getting a root canal.” The goal is not to extract the tooth but to clear the inflammation inside and keep the tooth in place for years to come. At Dent Aura, endodontic treatment follows modern protocols — with NiTi files, an apex locator and gutta-percha canal filling.

About the treatment

What does endodontics treat?

Endodontic treatment is indicated for pulpitis (inflammation of the nerve caused by deep decay), flare-ups of chronic apical inflammation, retreatment of previously filled canals (if the earlier treatment led to complications), and, in some clinical situations, when preparing a tooth for a crown.

Pulpitis and retreatment
Endodontics is needed for pulpitis, flare-ups of apical inflammation and retreatment of old root canals.
NiTi files and an apex locator
We clean the canals with rotary files, measure their length with an apex locator and confirm it with an X-ray.
Root canals from UAH 2,000
One canal — from UAH 2,000, three — from UAH 3,000, retreatment — from UAH 3,000 per canal.
Follow-up X-ray and warranty
After the gutta-percha filling, we show you the X-ray; root canal treatment comes with a warranty of up to 1 year.
Benefits

Why choose Dent Aura for endodontic treatment?

01
NiTi rotary files

More flexible and efficient than hand files — they navigate curved canals better and reduce the risk of an instrument breaking inside the tooth.

02
An apex locator for precise measurement

We don't determine canal length “by feel” — we use an electronic apex locator and confirm the result with an X-ray.

03
Warm gutta-percha filling

Warm vertical condensation fills the canal densely, with no voids.

04
A follow-up X-ray afterward

We always show you the X-ray after the canals are filled, so you can see the quality for yourself.

Procedure

How is endodontic treatment done?

1
X-ray diagnostics

Number of canals, their curvature and length.

2
Anesthesia.

3
Isolating the tooth

A rubber dam is placed so that antiseptics don't get into your mouth.

4
Opening the tooth and the pulp chamber.

5
Removing the pulp and cleaning the canals with files.

6
Rinsing with sodium hypochlorite.

7
Measuring the working length with an apex locator and X-ray.

8
Drying and filling the canals with gutta-percha.

9
Follow-up X-ray.

10
Restoring the tooth with a filling or preparing it for a crown.
