Which orthodontic methods do we use?
We offer four systems, chosen according to your clinical case, your aesthetic preferences and your budget. Damon Q braces (metal, self-ligating) are for complex cases and maximum efficiency. Ceramic braces are for those who want treatment to be discreet. Self-ligating metal braces are the classic option at an affordable price. Clear aligners are removable transparent trays for mild to moderate cases.

How the treatment works
Facial photos (front and profile), periapical X-rays and, if needed, a CT scan and a cephalometric X-ray.
The orthodontist determines the tooth movements needed, chooses the system and discusses the timeline.
Cleaning, cavity treatment and tooth extraction (if space is needed) before the braces go on.
Active treatment begins.
Braces: every 4–10 weeks. Aligners: every 6–8 weeks.
The braces come off, or you finish your last set of trays.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, there is no age limit. Orthodontic treatment takes a little longer in adults, but the result is the same.
1.5–2.5 years on average, depending on how complex your bite is and on the system.
For the first 3–5 days after each adjustment, there is some discomfort and increased sensitivity. Ibuprofen or acetaminophen (paracetamol) helps. After that, everything settles down.
A retainer is a removable or bonded appliance that holds your teeth in their new position after the braces come off. You do need to wear it; otherwise, your teeth will shift back.
