Crowns and veneers are fixed restorations that bring back both the look and the function of your teeth. If a tooth is so damaged that a filling won't do, or you want to change the shape and color of your smile for good, we'll find the right option for you: porcelain-fused-to-metal, zirconia or pressed E-max ceramic. At Dent Aura we don't rush: first we discuss the plan and agree on the result, and only then do we start work.
What is the difference between a veneer, a crown and an onlay?
A crown covers the whole tooth from top to bottom. It is placed on a badly damaged tooth or a tooth after root canal treatment. A veneer is a thin ceramic shell (0.3–0.7 mm) bonded only to the front surface of the tooth to correct its shape and color for cosmetic reasons. An onlay (inlay) covers part of the tooth: it replaces the damaged portion of a back tooth while leaving the healthy walls intact.
